B&T was all bottles. reminded me of a "lambic" in taste

2 cases (24) of 375s is what i saw.

as someone who drinks a fair amount of lambic, I didn't get any lambic type thing going on.. But I do think it's one of the best awa's I've had it was balanced and didn't punch you in the face with acidity, but cold of used a little more funk imo...

I'd be curious to see if he does something like that again how it will turn out...

Not positive, but I think the second batch was brewed this winter. I remember seeing a picture of the coolship outside in the snow. I think someone mentioned at the time that this would be the second batch.

$.02- Found B & T to be very complex and while different from Lambic, I can see that comparison.

Had a great time at the festival and at shitlord. Being & Time was great as was magic Anna. Seemed a lot more crowded than last year but maybe that was just the layout change. The pizza was awesome.

By the way, thanks to everyone who tried and had nice compliments for my raspberry berliner weisse that I poured around at SLM. Still lots to figure out on that front but glad I can at least produce drinkable beer.

Your berliner was quite good. Also whoever was passing around the jew brew (sorry forgot your name) his stuff was very good as well.

Seems every year someone brings solid homebrew to SLM (axeman9182 last year)

Enjoyed the chill atmosphere hanging some with skrip. B&T and Mercy Mercy were fantastic, as were all the 2013 HF Saison. That metal band played so long, I hardly remember any of the first band's set.

Parker Pie was a damn lost cause at the after party. Had a great short visit to the manor, thanks for the generosity of all who were involved.

Completely agree actually...thought it tasted quite a bit different when I had a sample on Friday, very very different than my other bottles...

I think he was trying to go the traditional saison route similar to the Thiriez beer that was at the fest on Sat.

Actually modified my order after tasting them, reduced my florence order to 1 bottle. smells like perfume. figured i'd give it 8-12 months and try it then. dat nordic tho.... so good, upped my order to a case!

I just put my 64oz growler of Everett into a cooler of ice water to keep it cold, and the growler (not an HF growler) fractured into two pieces, dumping all the beer into the cooler. Guess it was too much to ask for this trip to end without a negative incident. Oh well I suppose. Was really looking forward to drinking more of that after the amazing pour I had at Three Penny though.
