I think extending it in itself was a pretty awesome thing to do... can't think that anyone could have had a bad time.

oh for sure! we had a blast just busting balls cause i've been in the car all day hahaha =]

anyone love Works of Love SARA as much as i did!?

EDIT: also sorry we dipped out so quick last night OsLovesBeer, my friend thought he was gonna throw up lol

Mercy mercy was one of the beers I really enjoyed.

IMO, Sara coulda have done a little better than farmhouse noir though. Especially when side project is bringing it with three delicious kegs.

Allagash also stayed home unfortunately. It almost seems like they were called up an hour before the show and all they had in the truck was that century saison. Too bad..

Aslo, not a complaint but a HF ipa/pale ale would have been extremely enjoyable to cleanse the palate between big sour beers.

Definitely one of the best fest nonetheless. Not over crowded so waiting in line doesn't seem endless.

At 100$ a ticket, food should be included though. Or at least not run out of it.

Happy to have spent some time with OsLovesBeer (and his gang of hooligans) Gene , Ben MKtheGeneral bdogg

The house was a little crazy but if you can't follow the general's pace, then I suggest you stay home.

I might have told you this after the fest but i did mention this to Shaun (right after he told me to smile and enjoy myself) and he said that he agreed but it wouldn't fit in with the Farmhouse theme. Hoping i can convince him otherwise before next year.

I think we were discussing Dorothy... fresh Dorothy could do the job next year

Agreed on having something like Edward on. E. was one of my favorite beers of the day because the hop character was a nice change of pace from many of the others.

I can see Shaun's point about a pale ale not fitting the farmhouse theme, but I think his beers fit the theme regardless. I mean, they are brewed on a farm right? :)

Same as it ever was re:food, beer. Can nitpick but it's more fun to just enjoy.

People watching was exceptional, as always. Enjoyed the fanboi's taking lots of sample/bottle pics and selfies. Lots of new faces this year.

Big name beers that had literally or virtually no wait for the majority of their available time:
Flora
E.
Magic Anna
CD6
Mercy Mercy

My girlfriend and I must have consumed an entire bottle of Mercy Mercy to the dome. Sante was totally slept on, probably due to no apricots. Same with Flora pours - a few of those complemented Meghan's tacos something proper. CD6, E. 2014 and Norma 2013 were all changing in a way I didn't love, but on the whole Shaun's beers were highly enjoyable and B & T definitely stole the show.

Seriously upset at missing this year's FoFA, glad it sounds like it was a great fest for everyone. Plus, I don't think it rained or snowed which might be a first for a HF fest!

Being & Time: many people seemed to love it. Does it compare to anything else? Also, was that a keg of B&T or was this all from the bottles from a couple years ago?

B&T was all bottles. reminded me of a "lambic" in taste

2 cases (24) of 375s is what i saw.

Coworker (different one from last time) is a homebrewer and went to HF last week or so for the first time. Said he was disappointed by what he tried (S&S, Abner, Everett, Abner, Susan, Legitimacy), so I ask him to make something better and let me try it.

Do you work with Ding?
