They aren't easily accessible for a lot of people, that's why I'll buy somealmost 2x the price of HF saisons. kinda surprised anyone buys them!

IN REFERENCE TO FOFA.What cellar reserve?
they used to be the price of a 750 or more...

Wat?
They're widely distro'd and sit on shelves in some places due to price:size. Compared to HF accessibility and price:size there is no way I'd waste trunk/suitcase capacity on CS.
Not to mention, I've not been overly impressed with anything I've had by them.
YES, I'm a CS hater!![]()
All the CS I've seen collecting dust is the same price or maybe $1 more.Chad makes great beers...
and HF "shelf" saisons are priced better than anything...
that said, I still welcome a Vielle when it's around down here... and the price tag is very good at HF compared to what I'm likely to find it for...
guest bottles added to the website:
- Crooked Stave St. Bretta: Dark ale brewed with Cara Cara oranges, made with 100% Brettanomyces, and aged in oak foudres. 375ml. $8
- Crooked Stave Surette: Wood aged farmhouse ale brewed with malted barley, wheat, oats, rye, and spelt. Aged in oak foudres. 375ml. $8
- Crooked Stave Vielle: Diverse blend of Vielle casks that have take on a soft Brettanomyces character before being dry hopped. 375ml. $8
- La Brasserie de Blaugies La Vermontoise: From the same recipe as our brew day at La Brasserie in 2012, La Vermontoise is a Belgian spelt saison brewed with American Amarillo hops. 750ml. $12
So if you are 'partners' with the brewery then you would be allowed to use such terminology? I don't understand how this TM thing works I guess...Not that I fully care...

In NJ since we don't have any Shelton presence anymore they are not on shelves, not sure I've seen in PA either.
Oh well the more stuff for sale when I'm here at HF the better imo
- Civil Disobedience 13: A blend of various beers from Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 primarily consisting of wine barrel aged Society Solitude 3 with various fragmented threads. 750ml. Due to the small number of bottles, this will be for on-site consumption only when new tasting room opens.
- Civil Disobedience 14: A blend of various beers/barrels from Summer 2012 through Summer 2013. Consisting primarily of Anna and Florence. 375ml.

Maybe it's just for the holiday weekend? Honestly last time I was there on a busy Saturday it was pretty bad with the ticketing system. Didn't even end up getting my last couple tastings because it wasn't worth the wait. Don't understand why they can't just add a couple more taps and employees when it's busy...
