had some awesome ones yesterday.

personal rankings:
Ann b2>Serrasin/CD11>Art b3>>>>>Norma b2

Ann, Serrasin, CD11 and Art were all very, very, very good. I've never been a Norma fan.
Difference between Ann and CD11 was surprising given they are the same base beer.

Norma b2 is the "bad" batch, right? I think that's the only one I've had. Didn't enjoy it that much.

I think you are right. I didn't go to this release, so this is the only time I've had it.
Norma is my least favorite of the BA saisons regardless of the batch.

Had b3 fresh, with 6 months, and with slightly over a year on it. 6 months was by far the sweet spot.
Does anyone know which batch was poured at BlackBack? I wasnt fond at all.. Minimal carb and no complexity. The last b4 in bottles is light year more enjoyable.

so yeah I see what you did there using the word vintage technically batch 2 was released in 2013 which is what most people use as a reference point

Dear FIB team leader,

When our lord and savior puts '2011 vintage' on the b1 bottle, '2012 vintage' on the b2 bottle, and '2013 vintage' on the b3 bottle that is how they are forever referred to.

I never said the bottles didn't say that did I quit being the ****** bag leader of Vermont

right, so when a tap list says 2013 VINTAGE. it is referring to b3, not b2.

not sure why you think they would refer to it on bottles one way and on a tap list another.

correct. it makes much more sense to try and coordinate things in here while people about talking about the subtle differences of batches.

not much to coordinate until people have tix... I believe everything was coordinated in private messages last year
