I think I'm with you, but can't recall another beer I've had it in besides Quetsche. At least in that case it doesn't do much for me beyond OG Tilquin.

not a big fan of the fruit... but L'Brett D'Plum was what showed me how great the fruit could go with that style of beer...

I enjoyed Piscataquaweisse from Dave Sakolsky during his Blue Lobster days (has blueberries, too, though).

I love plums, and I've had Quetsch a few times now and have not really cared for it. I have found the bottles I've had to be far too sour for my liking. Based on the other Flora variants I'm expecting a much more enjoyable experience - much drier and lightly tart. Also, in VT we saw one shipment of Tilquin (OG/OG^2/Quetsch) last fall that sold out fast and none since, so Flora Plum will arguably be easier for me to get than Quetsch would be.

But yes, there is no getting around the fact that $22 for a 375 is expensive.

In regards to the increase in price for Flora Plum

I don't think it was the demand for Flora BB. It was as everyone else said the fact you could get 4 bottles of Flora BB AND 3 bottles of Norma in the same day combined with a **** ton of people in Boston for EBF = Busiest day ever.

I personally don't think the change in policy limits per person not per day is going to help, but I don't work at HF so idk how many people show up multiple days in a row and max their allotment of whatever barrel aged offering.

Now $22 for a 375ml... Russian River Beatification was $18 a 375ml, Duck Duck Gooze was $40. Veritas is $40 not one person has complained about those, they sell out instantly. Does it still make it ok ? Idk i don't run a brewery and know what it takes to make a profit or what stuff costs...... So essentially $44 for a 750 of Flora Plum. Flora was $30 and takes a year to produce Flora Plum takes 2 years to make and is $44..... Art was $40, Ann was $50ish..... CD10 $30 CD11 $35. Haters gonna hate, I'll still pay it but i'm not drinking one of these every night and breaking the bank here. I'm drinking a Treehouse can of Sap $3.75 for my beer tonight.....
