Anyone know how much Civil Disobedience 12 was there at close on Saturday? Heading up Wednesday and trying to plan my ETA.

Quick question - i'm heading up to VT this july and planning on hitting HF on a wednesday, would i be best going at opening or later in the day? Want to plan accordingly, thanks!

So what is the deal with the anniversary??

Do people share beers while waiting in line at all? Was going to bring a couple local beers up to share while we wait Friday morning for anyone that is interested.

No, they don't. If you do, Kerrie will be mad at you and will probably make you look like an ******* in front of everyone. Don't do it. You can drink coffee in line, though. I often do.

Is this considered a "shelf saison" i.e. will it be a case limit type beer? Or is it more along the lines of vera mae, where it's not quite 1pp but not just open for cases?
Last time it was released (October 2013) it was no limit. We bought 2 cases at the DBD release.

at this point, I'm not even sure if it will see shelves... last time he was brewing it, it was just for blending... it's been so long since this was out, I don't even remember what the limit was when I got it

edit: and just like that... an answer to the bold "likely both"

those feelz... Sankt Hans may be my favorite non-super limited HF/Grassroots saison

maybe it just needed (lots of) time?
a few friends and I had a huge HF/Grassroots saison/sour tasting last summer where we opened pretty much every bottle released over the prior 2-2.5 years except for the CDs, Juicy and Mimosa. the Sankt Hans and PoS stole the show

B1 Sankt Hans was only ok fresh. The bottle I had with a year on it was really good. I thought B2 SH was as good fresh as B1 with a year on it. Would definitely buy another bottle or two of a new batch, but still my least favorite of the 3 rotating Grassroots saisons.

I just had Sankt in March (not sure of batch), but it was awesome! I'd be less likely to trade for it, but I'll buy a case if it's on when I visit in May.

But how is Sankt Hans tasting compared to b1 Norma? Thats the question I came here to have answered.

Sorry I'm not sorry for derailing the next 2 pages of ranking Grassroots releases and comparing aged batches of Sankt Hans.

Taste. Is. Subjective.
