if I recall correctly, it's pretty slow... probably best to wait to see what come out that week to get a better feel however.
It's really hit or miss, but I don't think it's quite as busy as the summer.

I've learned there is never a bad time to go to Hill Farmstead.
Yes there is: Saturday at noon![]()
yeah Jan is my favorite time, maybe no special releases but getting in line again for growlers usually isn't an issue and Waterbury is slower with people as well...It's really hit or miss, but I don't think it's quite as busy as the summer.
Plus, not much beats sitting at Parker Pie drinking loons while the next table is a group of snowmobilers pounding Bud heavies. Good times.
How is HF around the xmas/new years holidays. Hopeful to make a visit between 12/23 - 1/1
No doubt, I'd bet the weeks immediately around Christmas/New Year's are crazy. The pro tip would be to hit HF/Waterbury sometime between say January 5 and March.Actually I think it is super busy that week due to Christmas ski vacations. I was there the Friday after Christmas last year (in the snow) and the line was well outside out the door when they let everyone in. I bailed and went to the bottle only line (only time I ever did that). People were posting it ended up being a 4+ hour wait. They have gotten more efficient moving through the lines since, but it was still one of the busiest days ever.
Like this Thursday, maybe?This week:
Likely next week:
- Arthur: Farmstead Ale. 750ml - Limit 2 cases per person. $10 per bottle.
Upcoming (TBA):
- Sue: Wine barrel aged Susan - aged for 1 year with resident microflora. 750ml. 25$
Sue is a must have for me!
Sounds like ur making a run next week....
why? that list is not always right... I mean, it's possible but I dunno.
I'm purely guessing since Sue went from middle of the list to top of the list today. Then again Ann is due out " within 3 months " according to Twitter.
The statement " In Chronological order " is removed from the Upcoming bottles replaced by " T.B.A" so everything listed is fair game to pop up anytime
So i'm purely guessing at Sue next week...
yeah, the description did go up... we'll see.. "Up Next" shows Anna... next weekend would be rough but we'll see
I wish Everett would hit bottles again instead of growlers. I had an Oct 13' Everett the other day. Delicious. End story.
I have a couple left that I was worried about... good to know they're doing well
