There were 9 Florence magnums out at opening today, but I was 16th in line...alas. I still got my Double Citra fix and a bottle of Art. Looks like at least 20 cases left so I'm sure it will last to tomorrow, maybe beyond.

How is the last Convivial?

(Only have one and I'd like to save it for a super special, extra cuddly, pillows and rainbows kind of day)

I've never licked a handful of hibiscus but I imagine that drinking the last batch of Convivial was like that. It was hibiscus, hibiscus and then a touch of hibiscus. At first I didn't care for it because it was a little metallic and floral. But it grew on me quite a bit 1/2 way through the first glass. By the end of the bottle i liked it a lot. The mouth feel and quality are signature HF. It's just that it has soooo much more hibiscus than older batches. I'm thinking that 6 months from now it might be mind blowing(thinking hibiscus will tone down a bit and beer will tarten up a little more. )

There were Suarez magnums at end of the day Friday too

Plenty of Art to start today, they were still selling it in the bottle-only line at the start. Got out of there in an hour and only spent $82. Cheapest HF trip ever.

Kerrie did think Art would sell out today...it was PACKED by the time I left at 1.
