I'll walk to HF if I have to next time SS 4 is on, I need to try that beer.
Probably my favorite Hill IPA or DIPA

I think I went through six growlers in ten days.Double Citra and Double Galaxy were the first two HF beers I had and they were so. damn. good. The thought of the two of them having an IPA baby gives me all the good feels.
I'd do the same for SS 5.I'll walk to HF if I have to next time SS 4 is on, I need to try that beer.
Don't love SS5, but SS7 is drinking incredibly right now.I'd do the same for SS 5.

One of our guys dropped out this morning. If Bill still has his, you've got your pair at cost*On the off chance that anyone has one additional extra, please hit me up...would need two total tickets if I'm going to make this year's event.
Have fun everyone!
Mines gone! I have a feeling there will be a few extra tickets available from people in line today though. I know two guys who basically just started asking people in bottle line at FoFA if they ha tickets and each ended up getting in.One of our guys dropped out this morning. Great shots. My favorite is deep-in-thought-Tarpey.Fantastic Zwanze! Thanks to the Hill Farmstead staff for their hard work and for remaining open on Saturday for retail. The bottle only line went really fast. I took a few photos:

Yes, they are very similar minus the wine barrel treatment E. gets. So I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise to me that I didn't enjoy Dorothy at all. The nose is nice, but I find it super bitter and unbalanced, really hard to drink. Which is exactly how I felt about the bottle of E. from the 2nd batch that I had a little over a year ago. This new batch of E. (b3) also wasn't a favorite of mine when fresh, but it has definitely developed in the bottle and I really enjoyed the last one I drank.
Perhaps its just not a style I enjoy. I guess that just means more Dorothy for you guys. You're welcome.
Correct, I believe we saw the Vig keg was dated 2012. The Iris Grand Cru was I believe kegged last year because I think that was a Zwanze exclusive in 2013 (it was on at Parker last year).Out of curiosity, does anyone know the vintages that were being poured at Zwanze? I think I heard Tarpey say that Vig was 2012
Heading to HF on Friday. How early do the lines start forming? I don't want to get there too early and upset anyone, but if the norm is for folks to start lining up 30 min prior or something like that, then I can do that. Just don't want to get there right at 12 and have an hour plus wait.
