Ok so idk what to do. I'm coming up next month and planned on hitting the big 3. Pro Pig, Res, Blackback so should I stay away from Blackback?

they are all extremely close to each other... no need to completely avoid any place. It's not like the place is horrendous by any stretch of the imagination

It's interesting but that's sort of the worst fear of some bars in VT..... "should I even go anymore? There's no HFS on tap"

Definitely still go! Even if it's just to drop in for a pint of something new from Fiddlehead or other great VT breweries. I love HFS as much as anyone here but they're not the only VT brewery

IN fact, me and 4 friends just hit every single Vermont brewery over 6 weekends starting in June. We have 2 more (covered bridge + kingdom) that we're doing next weekend and we've filled up the entire VT passport and while HFS beers are still my favorite, there are some amazing beers being brewed in our state and Blackback has a few of them.

I'd say some of my favorite brewers in vermont after HFS (no particular order)
Lost Nation
Foley Brothers
Fiddlehead
Northshire
Zero Gravity
Pro Pig
Whetstone station

all making some pretty darn good beers. Check them out as you meander through VT.

They're all literally within 50 yards of one another. You can check out the draft list at each within 3 minutes.

We stopped in for one drink last weekend and had Lost Nation Gose and Bruery Humulus Lager. Nothing to shake your head at despite the lack of HFS.

as my friend Holt put it, phenomonologoogoly

Florence is sold out, according to the website.

My wine drinking pal was picking up some HF for me this afternoon & watched it sell out 2 people in front of him, sad feels :(. He still got Vera Mae & Lemon Cello...btw, any distro on Lemon Cello outside VT ? interesting, tasty beer.

Cello made distro to Maine so I would expect to see it around.

Just got in line and it sounds like Vera Mae is sold out now too.

Edit-that was all lies. At least some left. Not sure how much though

hey man, get in touch with us for the CL sour event! bunch of all-stars gonna be there

Shaun said Convivial is 2 - 3 weeks away (was just bottled the other day), and assuming Dorothy hasn't even been bottled yet, and Clara is supposed to be released in September, interesting to see what goes up this Wednesday. Maybe CD10 or Aaron?

lol no, definitely not, sorry bud. One 13-hour r/t drive per month is about what I can handle
So many sad feelz. I can't believe I'm considering doing a cannon-ball run solo..again. I guess I'll know whether it's worth it or not when the release list gets updated. They've been pretty good with getting that up on Monday's, hopefully this week is no different.

Site updated:

Civil Disobedience #10: A blend of barrel-aged beers including 2.5-year-old Art, Sankt Hans primary fermented in Phenomenology of Spirt barrels et al. 750ml. $30

Limits now shown, 2/pp
Why is this $30 a bottle? Wud rather have $15 375ml's (don't get me started about the 2nd CD7 release...which is still not even ready to drink)
