Not sure if all of them do it, but the credit card processor I do business with takes a variable rate depending on the type of card used (Debit, Credit, Reward Credit, Specific store card). Think it averaged out to 2.11% last month (not including AMEX).

Lots of variables that go in to things like this, but 2.11% is a pretty good effective rate. Well done. A lot of the other figures being tossed around in this thread are completely off. But back on topic.....

How's that lemon cello ipa and newest release of BA Everett tasting?

I was out cycling and only had a CC on me, stopped in a gas station, asked if they took CC's, they said yes. I got a gatorade, brought it to the counter and gave them my CC. They told me it was a $10 min. I informed them that I was out on my bike, 40 miles from home and needed the gatorade. They wouldn't budge. Annoyed, I then informed them their contract with MC prohibited them from setting minimum purchases for CC purchases (that didn't win me any points). They suggested I buy more stuff, to which i responded that I couldn't, as i was on a road bike and had no where to store it. I then said, just charge me $10 for the gatorade, and they refused, said "i can't take your money for nothing"... this went on for a few minutes, they finally relented and let me use my CC for the $2 purchase.... ******* hate the minimums.

bring some ******* cash next time

"We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Listed retail prices do not include 6% Vermont State Sales Tax."

Seems to cover the 6% questions...

Extremely late to the party on this. Myself and another local Chicago guy are still looking for a possible solution to the DD rule for the FOFA. We will be staying in Waterbury over the weekend. If anyone can possibly help out please let me know. We could pay in beer or other ways to make it worthwhile for you. You also of course will get to attend the festival with us.

Question about M&C4- have any of you had an issue with it being infected? I have one set aside to trade, and the bottle I drank was great. But I don't want to be sending out an off beer if it happened to go downhill. I saw a drain pour on instagram, which made me curious

I drank a few fresh and noticed 0 signs of infection, but I've heard the same rumors.

infected? no
meh? yes (the bottles we opened had no hint of spice/heat/etc)

Still a damn good stout, if it never mentioned pepper anywhere on the label...

Heard about a possible infection, but never experienced one with that beer.

I sent one to someone in FL a couple weeks back, he recently reported that it was sour. The bottle I drank was a week after it was released and tasty.

Not sure if infected, but the one bottle I shared with a number of others was not very good. Probably not drainpour level, but the group felt it was the worst of the HF beers we have had.

so much win

Anyone do a BBA Everett side-by-side yet? Or had the previous and drink the new batch?

Barrel Aged Everett remains through Saturday. Limit dropped to 2 bottles/person so that anyone traveling here tomorrow can purchase.
