I usually reserve that one for church anyways...

thinking of having a bday dinner there... may have to reserve now for memorial day, right?

Yes, definitely.

Would not surprise me if they're booked up already that weekend, but its definitely worth a shot. Also, they'll be closed on the Monday, unless they open for the holiday

God damn you guys are not making it easy to be patient for my trip up there in late July!

Does HF do any consistent annual seasonal releases or is it whatever is ready when its ready? If so, what's to be expected around late July?

Lately there's been a new BA offering every week, so you should be good. Don't know exactly what it will be but there will be something to buy!

Taking my first trek to HF next week. Hoping they keep up with the amazing selection one more week.
Question: Is Waterbury or the #1 spot to go to or is Montpelier the way to go.

Waterbury has the advantage of having 3 bars in walking distance of each other...

that said, I suggest you stop in Montpelier for Three Penny as well

Thanks, as for beer shops I know of three in walking distance from ProPig...I think near Three Penny is only Hunger Coop.

CBC gets Heady the day I am in town...do you happen to know the delivery times and would they hold some? Unfortunately, Coop does not get there shipment until two days later

they don't hold... but all 3 shops on the strip get there's that same day. You can piece together about 5 4-packs per person if you hit all 3. On a non event week you should be fine if you get there by 7 or so

nice, I will be there way before 7 as long as I am in the front of the HF line. Crossing Fingers. Thanks - let the excitement begin!

enjoy... it's a fantastic trip... where are you going from?

CT - about a 4 hour trip. If I get to HF at 10:30a, I am hoping to be in the top 5 people in line. How long will it take me to get my gear?

At 10:30am you'll most likely be the first person in line, waiting for 30-45 minutes before the second person in line even gets there

Edit- unless there's some highly anticipated release

there is no release that I am aware of - coming from CT I just want to get in and get out as soon as I can...especially with how slow growler fills can be.

assuming you're at the front of the line... you can will be out of there as soon as they fill your growlers... that could be as quick as 12:15... that's without samples of course

I drive through CT to go up... my brother actually is in CT and he's coming up for Memorial Day weekend...

Also, they're much more efficient with the growler fills these days. The new process with the iPad has sped it up quite a bit. The last time I was first in line, I was out in 5 minutes.
Agreed. I've only been up once since this started, but I predicted a 90 minute wait when we got there (from experience) and we were out of there in about 40 minutes. New system is fantastic.

With the iPad are they taking credit cards now or is it only used for order taking?

Search didn't help me out. How is the maple syrup? Different grade impressions?? Worth the money?
