So any chance they add more bottles by wednesday, or is it usually just updated once / week on what's going to be released? Heading up there from out of town on Thursday, trying to figure it all out haha.

Doubt it. Everett, M&C 4, and syrup is more than they usually offer anyway.
Cool, thanks. wish there was some wild stuff , but M&C and some hops sound mighty fine!

Also, anyone headed up early thursday and want to trade some beers? Can bring Bruery ****, Dark Lord, Bourbon County stuff, midwest stuff, etc...

Ha, if you want some wild stuff, I'll gladly trade you for an M&C 4. BM me.

I could be interested in a trade, or at least opening some bottles. Hit me up.

And this goes for everyone: I think I'm heading up on Fri, but as always, there is an open invitation to all TB'ers* to swing by Dartmouth College and IPtrade/bottleshare/HTFO. I'm not super mobile to go meet up elsewhere cuz of classes, but if Hanover isn't too far out of ur way, come get shwastey in good company.

*plz don't be a pedophile, kthx

Curious, I'm planning to hit HF on the 21st (Wednesday) this month. Is how busy things will be entirely dependent on whether there's a bottle release or not? Last time I went it was the Friday of a holiday weekend (albeit not a holiday weekend and their anniversary to boot) and we got there at 11:30 and was first in line. I don't mind waiting for hours, but the people I'm going with have other ideas. Perhaps there's no way of knowing, but you know, gotta at least try and plan **** ahead of time and what not...

With the impending holiday weekend full of HF events as well as other VT beer happenings, I would expect it to be quite busy with people getting an early start to the weekend.

I would drown that night if I were there.

is Parker Pie the pizza joint that everyone raves about? asking because my wife & I are spending the POST-anny weekend week in VT and I was advised to hit up a great pizza joint w/ killer brews
It and Positive Pie are the two that make the list. I like Parker more, but they're both great.

If you have at least two nights up there, you should definitely do both. And Hen of the Wood if you have a third.
funny you would mention Hen...we're spending a week up there (May 26-30), staying at Hotel Vermont in Burlington, and having our "official" anniversary dinner at the Hen in that hotel (not the original one). We'll be doing a bunch of things non-beer-related as my wife doesn't drink, so this is all good for her! thanks!

Think any of those will last past the weekend? Unfortunately I'll be up there the week after but hope I get to try something tasty.

Also, does anyone have a preference between the 2 Hen of the Woods locations? Do they have the same menus? Is there a difference in quality? Atmosphere? Beer lists?
