I hear the HF hype makes this version tastes significantly better than the last.Has anyone had the new version of Wheat is the New Hops? I wasn't crazy about it when I had it last year but am curious about how the current release compared given the talk of "the original vision." Were there problems with the batches brewed away from HF?

Blackback described W/NH as a sour. Can anyone confirm? It's been on draft there since last week.
That question is very upsetting to Adam Jackson. Please ask again tomorrow when it is released.
Whoops, for some reason I thought it was already on the shelf last week. I'd still be curious about what's different with this one and whether something went awry with the previous batches. That question is very upsetting to Adam Jackson. Please ask again tomorrow when it is released.
the version Blackback had on tap 2 weeks ago was not sour or even funky in the slightest. tasted like a slightly hoppy wheat pale aleBlackback described W/NH as a sour. Can anyone confirm? It's been on draft there since last week.
500mL stubby bottles are neat.
Only grabbed two for myself, don't really think this one is worth sitting on for too long but who knows.
PS: I still need cooler friends. Please advise.

Blackback says everything is sour. Or hoppy. I don't think they know any other ways to describe a beer.
