Could always be a new batch of Everett or Twilight

also, unlikely BUT, it could have just been empty bottles that are in transit

Have they done multiple releases of Twilight in the past? Always thought it was one and done

Sorry, did I miss it? What is the description of Le Sarrasin?

Buckwheat wine barrel saison

A page long debate over mystery 500ML bottles is pretty funny...Imean I get it, I am interested as well but when you step back from the beer nerdery it's sort of funny. Carry on :)

I had this same exact thought as I was posting my reply lol. Almost deleted it and then just rolled with it instead

Well, there's already been two batches this year. First was in the late fall and all of it went into kegs.

It's some type of maple barrel aged stout. I can't remember the specifics.

Per Adam Jackson 's research:

Early next year we will begin releasing beers from our Bourbon Barrels. This includes a new beer tentatively titled: “Beyond Good and Evil” – An Imperial Stout brewed with Wheat and Maple Syrup…

That was in 2012. So it appears to be an imperial stout, brewed with wheat and maple syrup, aged in bourbon barrels. It could have been aged for a really long time and this could be that same batch being released (I have doubts about this, personally), or the first batch could have gone into one of the M&C blends or something else mysterious (this is my guess). But those are just guesses. I am spitballing.

Sold out of Florence and Convivial. It's hard to imagine the shelves will be bare for too long.

*rubs hands together in greedy anticipation*

too bad for folks going up tomorrow though, I have a hard time imagining that they'd put something out on a Saturday.

hopefully Arctic Soiree soon too?

Srsly, I needed more Florence.

Hill Farmstead, you expect me to make a case and half last???? I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS?!?!?
Really? Case and a half? waaaaaaah. Be sure to post when this goes on tap, would ya?

I just keep buying it every week.

Well, until next week anyway

edit: I don't think any went out to keg accounts. Hopefully it did, but I heard the bar manager saying he really wished we could get some of the saisons on tap

It's definitely the same beer. And just to clarify, it's maple syrup in the beer, not maple bourbon barrels. Excited to see what those maple bourbon barrels filled this summer become though!!

Edit - my mistake, forgot it was part of the MC1 blend as well.

Shaun sent a few kegs of Anna to NYC last month, so there's hope for more kegged saisons. It was fantastic.

I'm going to have to go pretty hard after Le Sarrasin. That beer sounds fantastic. And dat label.

Haha, deleted because I wasn't sure you wanted those usernames publicly linked. Can repost if you want!

Appreciate the thought :)

I didn't think about it, but now that you say it I'm sure the butthurt over there has not fully ended.

Anyway, word on the street is there is a new, limited release blended black saison being released in 375ml bottles :p

And E. Has been added to the upcoming bottle list while Flora Cuvee has disappeared from Up Next....

And on deck for tap Everett , S&S # 6 & Excursions # 1......
