2 Art, 2 Everett, 750s of Abner and SS3 for 09-11 DL and a Zhukov

I'm laughing as I type it out.

Allow me to help. Everett's pretty common and you'll get a solid DIPA anytime you walk through Hill Farmstead's doors. If you enjoyed the Dark Lords, I see no reason for regret. Once you've had enough HF beers, 2 Arts are a drop in the bucket. And this is coming from someone who does not like Dark Lord.

I really only mildly enjoyed 2 of them and traded away the third. There is no way I would have likesd them even half as much as Art.

Thankfully I've had plenty of HF since, but it still pains me...

Opened my last Art (batch 2) a few months ago and it was still fantastic. B2 is certainly still worth trading for, in my opinion (assuming it was stored properly, etc).
B2 was drinking GREAT as of like four months ago. I can verify that. I'd love more Art, have to figure it still has some prime time left in it.

It's nights like you guys are having tonight that makes me wish I didn't actually have Untappd so I didn't have to see it

It's certainly been a wild ride :)

I have a tendency to save special bottles for good tastings that I have a tendency of never attending. They end up getting saved for when this group gets together for tastings :D

Cheers. Lucky SOB.

I'm having a Heady. From July. Still decent! Holy ******* sediment! Very, very drinkable though.

I actually have some from July and from Sept that I'm saving for a taste test later this year.

Last year at this time I traded a juicy+BoT for Art+E. This past sept I traded a Wanderer for Art 1:1. There is the distinct possibly that that Art may be involved in a trade for an Ann very soon.

Speaking of E, is that a beer that has tradable bottles out there? I was thinking of going after a bottle but have no clue if it's even around much anymore.

I wouldn't.
The bottle we had last night was rather yeasty and had lost a lot of the tropical fruit profile that was there early in 2013.

Thanks. I had heard it was really good earlier this year. I appreciate the feedback.

Satsuma 1:1 for me, thinking about taking another shot at it but potential differences in storage conditions is holding me back. The bottle we had was flawless, but that doesn't mean that every bottle will be :(

So true. I'd probably only trade for an Art from someone who lives in VT and bought it at the release and promptly put it in their 'real' new england cellar. If someone elsewhere has one, I probably wouldn't trade for it. Storage conditions will have a huge effect at this point.

It is my favorite Hill Farmstead beer ever better than ann, juicy, flora and norma and I hope it comes out again in the future. The tasting on Friday re-affirmed how awesome Art is.

Btw, Amarillo kicked right at the end of Saturday. Motueka is next :D :D :D

2l growler here I come!

No problem Frank. Glad to see you got what you wanted. Thanks for checking though! The gesture is appreciated.

I am thinking about visiting HF during their 4th Anniversary Celebration May 24. Historically do they release any special beers (BA, limited saisons, etc) the week of the anniversary, or do I have just as good of chance the week before?

Thanks!
