Yep. ZERO complaints ever about Twilight. Not having it bottled means it's cheaper this year too so I guess that really only caters to locals but still.

750ML Twilight = 26 ounces @ $8
500ML Twilight = 17 ounces @ $8

We're getting an extra 8 ounces of Twilight for the same price as last year's 500ML bottles! :)

to be honest, HFS bottles don't last long at my house. If shaun did growler fills of everything from now on, that would be nice Aside from waiting to get them fill, I wouldn't complain. Bottles are consumed just as fast as bottles once I get home.

Drinking HF bottles at the same rate as growlers? That is so confusing to me.

You are basically at the level of hoarding at this point. When you told me everything you have, I'm amazed. Up until the last 2-3 releases, I didn't have any HFS bottles in my possession less than 2 weeks old. then I started getting older bottles opened at tastings and realized most of shaun's beer is remarkable after 6 months so now I'm finally hoarding some of them but yeah, I go so often, I'll buy 2-4 bottles and drink them within a week.

That's great and all but I would still take bottles over growlers any day.

I haven't gotten this feeling from Shaun directly but an assumption is growlers will decrease trading of his beers. Yeah, people ship growlers but the hoarding of beers for that eventual value payoff that traders do so often isn't that possible. Like the last batch of Florence was growler only and now Twilight.

Why do you prefer bottles? Would you be happier of Abner was bottled? Is it because you don't feel rushed to drink it or may I jokingly ask that you prefer bottles because you're shipping so much HFS out, it would just be more convenient.

Although, imagine the reviews of HFS beers if he started Canning Edward & Abner. cans travel so well, people in vT would just start extraing them to people in regular trades.

No its because they are cumbersome to travel with, I've had faulty HF growlers leak before, they don't taste quite as good after the first week, I buy a lot of growlers for myself and I can't see myself doming 2Ls of Twilight by myself during the week.

Really, all the growlers have going for them is the price difference compared to bottles. The pros end there. You can't argue otherwise.

This, plus having moved from Amherst to Florida I try to go up to Vermont whenever I fly back to see friends and bottles are a lot easier to pack back in a suitcase plus they stay fresh for longer than a week so I can share with some beer buddies in florida.

I had a growler of Twilight over the weekend and agree about there being way less vanilla. Like to a point where I started thinking it was Everett.

The coffee and cinnamon stood out a little bit but the vanilla was seriously lacking compared to previous years. Like unnoticeable.

Kid, your palate couldn't even pick out a fine vintage Struise Witte in a cellar full of Cantillon *******.

You were so drunk at the anniversary party you couldnt tell the difference between twilight and the sleet hitting you in the face

god that was a good time, tasting at the hotel in waterbury afterward was insanely awesome too.

I think the impromptu bottle popping in the parking area was the best part of the day though. My beard was literally caked in snow.

Alright, who's going up to HF this week and can grab me a bottle or two of Arthur for an upcoming HF tasting? Can offer beer, invite to the tasting, and/or invite to the next Brooklyn Brewery release party on Monday 11/4.

I can't grab you the Arthur but I have M.I.A. tickets for 11/4 and am really ISO that invite to the Brooklyn Brewery release party. Does it come with anything else? Want to pm me and we can negotiate?

Wow, thanks for your useless response. I'm glad to see that you've carried over your trolling from BA to here.
