The old etched bulb isn't the most visible logo either, especially for certain styles. Nature of the beast, I guess.

11/22/2017 Arthur, a really well balanced vintage in terms of funk and acidity. Both are subtle and so is the overall beer, in a good way. Very easy to drink, almost like a table beer. Since taking that photo I've already finished a glass and poured another.
 
Would like to see that one again too. Loved it when I had it but that was over 4 1/2 yrs ago now. Also wondering if a solo Peach would make its way.

Flora Peach could be tasty. Unfortunately, peaches don't really grow in Vermont, at least not well. There are a glut of incredible Amish peaches (from PA) that come in every August to the Greensboro/Craftsbury area which are incredible. From what I understand, they come in due to trade between the Amish and Mennonite communities in NEK and Pennsylvaina, presumably with apples/maple syrup going south. Seriously delicious, would recommend getting some if you're up in August at Pete's Greens. Would be cool to see those used, but might be too expensive or not ripe enough and unfortunately not local.
 
There are coffee beans and hops from different continents being used in their beers, and we've seen peach in a Flora previously...

Yes... but it's not like there's another alternative for local coffee or hops. Vermont is not an ideal climate for growing hops and in particular coffee beans. That has nothing to do with fruit however. Generally fruit has been sourced (not exclusively but very consistantly) from about 50 or so miles from the brewery. In terms of Peaches/Pears, its not clear exactly where they got peaches from. The description says Vermont pears and northeast peaches. Yes Flora Peach can happen, I would love Flora Peach. But the odds are lower because there aren't Vermont peaches as opposed to other fruits grown in Vermont and that's the consistant trend.

In the mid/late-1800s, Hardwick, VT, was one of the primary hop-growing communities in the state, back when Vermont and New York were the biggest hop producers in the country. There is a hop yard in East Hardwick that is now growing/harvesting 2+ acres, working to reclaim this history. (Full disclosure: this is my sister’s and her husband’s hop yard.)

Last year we went in September when they had record high temps. I wanna wear jeans and boots when I go to New England gosh darnit.
Went mid September last year as well was almost 90! Then went back a week later and it was 55 as a high. This past weekend in 80s. Vermont man, you can't predict.

Yeah last year was something. We pushed our trip back an entire month this year hoping it would be cooler. I'm a cold weather kinda guy, would greatly prefer 30 degrees to 90 degrees.

this is awesome news. Are they harvesting this year or just getting started for next year?
 
I’m going to be in the area in early October, but definitely don’t have the patience now that I’m a dad to check bottles and cans in my luggage. What’s the most tried and true shipping solution these days?

I've had pretty good luck with taking a case, little bit of bubble wrap and newspaper to pad things within the case, then putting it within a Uhaul medium sized moving box ($1) with some additional padding, taping everything up, have a label printed, then drop off at a shipping location. Garbage bag the case if you want to be extra careful. It's a bit of preparation and extra driving around, but will avoid putting things in a suitcase.
