I've been watching the weather like a hawk too. I've never been before, but is it tight under the tents or do you still have space if it rains?

Was pretty tight for last years downpour, I went to the entrance tent and there were like 5 of us watching people jockey for position under the beer tents. MoFo's weren't getting out of those lines for nothing. Relax homies, it's just beer.

Definitely gets roasty under there, much more so last year than the previous year. They have other tents which are much more civilized where the DD's usually hang out, but there's no beer to line up for...*gasp

I'm sure this is answered somewhere in the 1000 page thread, but can someone recommend some VT things to do on friday and sunday? We will be in burlington on friday morning and then staying in waterbury the rest of the time.

Any local tips on coffee shops, interesting stores, cool areas, or anything else not to miss while we are in VT. We already have reservations to hen and the wood for friday night.

i can repay you all in NOLA recommendations if you all ever come down here.

Holy hell this week is dragging, is it Saturday yet? I just wanna drink Farmstead ales and do hoodrat stuff with my friends!
I feel that. Unfortunately I came down with a horrible cold a couple days ago. Doing everything I can think of to make sure I can taste these beers on Friday and Saturday.

My go to has been Flonase and Zyrtec as well as plenty of water and green tea and some echinacea in the AM.

Sadly, I can't make it up this weekend because I'm throwing a party for my fiancée's 30th birthday.

So, to all of those going up to the Hill....

PS: Have a good time.

I'm way too excited for FoFA...and also on vacation this week with not much to do tomorrow, so I opened this '15 Birth of Tragedy. Very good, but the coffee has faded considerably (they say drink within 6 months for a reason!). Heavy chocolate, sweet honey, and still noticeable barrel. Perhaps a tad of oxidation but this is excellent for 3+ years in the bottle:

Hope to see many of y'all soon!

I have been getting hammered just about daily for a couple weeks now in preparation of this weekend, my wake up BAC is higher than most peoples drunk BAC, nothing wants to live in my body.
You’re just gonna be bored of alcohol comes Saturday.

Was it known previously that Damon El Desarollo bottles were flat? My buddy opened one last night and it was completely still.

Attention all FOFAers: we will be doing the bottle raffle again this year, benefiting the local after school educational program. The magnum list to be raffled is crazy. Wicked crazy, actually.

Tickets will be $5 each, no limit. Bring cash—a lot of cash—and support local kids while maybe winning a magnum or two.

Thank you...

As I mentioned when we talked last month, one of my big regrets about missing FoFA this year is not being be able to contribute in person. But I'm sending money via PayPal to a friend specifically for this.
