Has anyone had Arctic Saison b2 next to an aged b1? I've still got at least one bottle of the first batch in my cellar, and I'm curious to know how much it's improved sense it was fresh. I liked it at the time, but I definitely wanted more funk than it provided fresh.

I didn't care for Arctic Saison at all when it was fresh. I likened it to Arthur gone bad or something. However the bottle I drank 6 months later was a totally different beer, much, much better. I even went and grabbed a few more bottles that were still available here in Burlington. All gone now, but time did wonders IMO.

Have not had Arctic Saison B2 yet but the B1 I had last month was mind-blowing. Grabbed 2 of B2 in hopes that is the case a year from now.

Why? Are you volunteering to get me a blueFlora?

Sure but my car is much nicer than that one. Does he even have a CD player?

I'll be up there tomorrow. What's a reasonable time to get there on a Wednesday and be toward the front of the line? Never been at opening on a Wednesday before.

I'm glad NYS takes such great care of their roads. But the constant roadwork, and add to that rain, sure makes summer HF cannonball runs unpleasant!

Though I suppose it's still a far cry better than actually performing said road work on NYS highways overnight in the rain...

Last year's Arctic Saison is drinking so fine right now!

(seriously - stoked that both AJ and DDB post here!)

kinda bummed to read that Blackback will no longer be serving Mad Taco

There's someone else moving in there. I'm not at liberty to discuss fully (I can say with 100% confidence it has NOTHING to do with the pig, zero affiliation at all. Just someone I know personally) but if everything goes according to plan there will be an awesome eatery in there soon enough.

Also, two cases of Anna.... **** me running (I'll leave the logistics up to you guys)

I actually really liked Mad Taco @ Blackback. Super spicy sauce with a glass of Everett was always a perfect combo.

Can't make it to HFS this week but I reckon Anna will be there next week. Maybe they'll have Anna for tastings too!

Really really looking forward to my trip up on July 3rd. Have to imagine if they're doing 2 case limits, it'll last that long

I remember watching an interview with Shaun where he talked about how with the expansion, he's going to be able to brew almost 4 times as much beer per week. Has it been confirmed that his brewing capacity has already expanded with the first phase of expansion mostly done? Would seem so with the copious amounts of Arthur, Soigne, and Anna he's been releasing as of late.

figured it had to do with new ownership striking a new deal...

I'll be up there on the 28th.. hope the limits stay at 2 cases.. or at least 1
