Oops, I forgot the meat pie and the A-A-Ron on draft

Had I not had company over and was distracted, it never would have gotten to the tire fire it did. Shut it down yesterday morning when I saw it.

Edit: not my group per se, I am just a hired gun.

Looks like HF just updated the retail page. D&R cans and Double Galaxy both sold out. Now I wasn't planning on heading up but I can imagine this is going to leave a lot of people disappointed.

Why oh why do they offer cans with no limits at all on Wednesday, only to institute a low limit on Thursday (2 6/packs pp today for the above mentioned cans), and then they still sell out. Couldn't they just do a perfectly reasonable 4 or 3 6/pack limit on Wednesday and have them last into the weekend? I don't get the rush to blow out the cans as early in the week as possible.

I'm sure there is some method to their madness, but it just strikes me as bizarre to continue to do this.

Based on Kevins comments in the FB group, growlers are an ample substitute. I understand his point, it's not like the beer is not available, so just get growlers. I personally don't get the hype over "OMG canzzzzz" either.

No. I did not say they are an “ample substitute.” However....

I will never understand the over the top craze for aluminum and agree with your overall point.

Yes or no: it is pretentious of Shaun Hill to name beers after philosophy titles/concepts

Shaun Hill is easily the best namer in the world. There's honestly no one else remotely in his class, in my estimation. These names are so much better than anything else I've read, in their styles, and this is true across so many different types of names. It's just unbelievable the degree to which I enjoy these names more than other representations of the same style. I don't say this lightly either. It would be convenient if I didn't need to drive a thousand miles for my favorite names, but that's just the reality of the situation.
