la pied du cochon for me.

edit: au pied du cochon*

I actually thought APdC was overrated. Over-the-top for the sake of being over-the-top. Which it was so I granted I'll give them that. I just feel less of an urge to go back.

It can certainly feel like that.....there is a bit of an art to ordering there. The seafood platter may be the best in the city, and there are a lot of good ones.

it's definitely Quebecois on steroids, but there are some less "flashy" dishes that are bang. a cheese "salad" i had there once comes to mind.

Drinking an Edward right now, and I can't remember the last time I filled a growler of Eddie since the tap list is always nuts. My man is tasting perfect, classic soft HF mouthfeel, slight bitterness, just so damn drinkable.

Definitely will make sure to grab a fill every trip going forward.

A 2L of Edward is required of every HF trip. Last time I got three 2L of it. Still not enough.

Fingers crossed that I finally get a ticket, particularly since I already booked a hotel. Two years and no dice. I've never hit on any of the other Hill lotteries I've entered either. My luck has to change sometime, right?

Stay tuned to TB the week before, should you lose. If it's like last year, tickets will be available.

Maybe I haven't noticed but resale on FofA tix seemed pretty minimal last couple of years

That seemed to have been the case last year. The bigger problem is if people get crazy/antsy and throw up huge ISOs for them.

I'm having a few different people enter for me and my friend group. In the unlikely event we end up with more tickets than necessary, they're being offered to TBers at straight cost.

the last couple years I've facilitated numerous ticket exchanges for FoFA and they all were at face value... it really has been nice to see people on here not trying to rip each other off

10/29/2015 Florence..... Drinking so well right now. Tasting nearly as good as that 4/30/2015 ish. Citrus and sour grapes. This past year of Florence batches trying its damnedest to make me like it more than Anna!

Yup, had to sell my Zwanze tickets last minute last year when something came up. Found someone here on TB and did a swap at face value. Been lots of chances to get tickets at face here for the last couple years, it's cool to see.
