From a brewers and consumer perspective...it does. They said the beer sits in barrels for 2 years and then goes through extensive bottle conditioning. I'd imagine the coffee would be pretty much non-existent or wouldn't taste that great after that long.

9 hours round trip isn't really driving distance with a wife and two small kids but either way, I'm sure it will be good.

It's been a long time since I had it and obviously I can't speak for this batch, but definitely didn't have green pepper or I wouldn't have liked it. My recollection is a similar level of coffee to reg genealogy- so not super coffee forward, but well integrated.

It's added before the barrel aging so it's pretty subtle. I'm certainly in the camp who'd love to see them finish a barrel aged stout on coffee....would be a fun comparison.

We don't kettle sour anything. Salt alone does not make a gose. This beer was made with Matt who loves margaritas. That is why it had lime and salt.

Just drank a 10/14 Arthur. Drinking beautifully right now. Mouthfeel off the charts
