01/2015 Soigné is absolutely ******* incredible right now, particularly when you're having it with some Stilton.
Anyone know when they add the coffee to Genealogy of Morals? Pre or post barrel aging?
Does it really matter?
This thread sometimes.
From a brewers and consumer perspective...it does. They said the beer sits in barrels for 2 years and then goes through extensive bottle conditioning. I'd imagine the coffee would be pretty much non-existent or wouldn't taste that great after that long.
I get it man, I do. I'm still going to buy it regardless hence my does it matter statement.![]()
Well for the rest of us who aren't within driving distance...
I have zero idea when they add the coffee, but it tastes really really good

9 hours round trip isn't really driving distance with a wife and two small kids but either way, I'm sure it will be good.
I get it. Different strokes. If I do go up I'll grab you one for cash and a label. Cool?
all your geneaaology iz mine, doesn't matter anyway. You'll get ugatz, stunad,I get it man, I do. I'm still going to buy it regardless hence my does it matter statement.![]()
Is it subtle or coffee forward? Green peppery at all?
Is it subtle or coffee forward? Green peppery at all?
It's added before the barrel aging so it's pretty subtle. I'm certainly in the camp who'd love to see them finish a barrel aged stout on coffee....would be a fun comparison.Anyone know when they add the coffee to Genealogy of Morals? Pre or post barrel aging?

Genealogy of Morals next week!!!!
What?So I think the new release is Shaun's interpretation of a gose and honestly I think it's gonna be killer
I'd agree if we were talking about bread and cheese casserole with some tomato sauce on top, but we're discussing pizza here![]()
New beer release- Farmer Wave- is not a "Gose."
I'd like to be the first, on this topic at least, to disagree with the brewery. Clearly this is a gose.
it's not a Gose... it's a Farmerita!
So for the Wednesday release, do things like Genealogy typically sell out fast? Planning on going Friday. Should still be available then right?
drank either a late 14 or early 15 Arthur tonight that ajfa531 nabbed for me many moons ago.. was as niice as Arthur normally is
