you must of been seeing the mules.... there are some hippie motherfuckers in VT people used for mules...
Sorry, but Nah man, I'm at HF all the time and live near the Vermont border, I know what Vermonters look like. I could overhear some.of the Co versations anyway, these were definitely #newmoney beer geeks.

I stand by my original assertion, ha.

I was first in line at 9:30 and they started sales just before 11.

Were you the guy who drove down from Syracuse? We were right behind you chatting the whole time, nice meeting you!

We got there at 930ish today to grab growlers and flora, out the door by 1115. Packed to the door when we left. Phil said it should make the day, they were selling it in bottle only line.

That was me. Pleasure meeting you gentlemen also. I'm glad you had the opportunity to get back for more today. Safe travels on your long ride home.

Anyone opened a December Florence recently? Tarting up at all?

yes...not too much change. love that beer.

seems with the foeders that, imo, the beers seem to evolve a bit less than in the past.
I think the beers are a more developed when they are bottled compared to the pre-foeder beers.

That batch, though, supposedly was the one that did not see foeders.

(Hence my question, as it tasted "less developed" fresh)

I opened one at the Hilton share on Friday night during Huna weekend, but I have basically no recollection of what it (or most beers that evening) tasted like. I blame the 2006 Watermelon 4 Loko that Drei had me consume. Oh, and bourbons.

I remember the last one I opened (in something resembling a sober state) last month didn't seem too much different yet, but it really hadn't been that long compared to fresh. I love Florence with just about any character though. I have a homebrew wheat-heavy saison sitting in a carboy with a fat pellicle thanks to Flora and Florence dregs. Think I might make it a Flora B/B "clone" by hitting it with several pounds of each berry.

From memory, last one was a touch acidic but not what I would consider 'tart'. very drinkable. didn't taste un-developed to me but don't recall it fresh. definitely remember wanting more. very pretty beer, crystal clear pour.

Oh no no no. The bourbon was all me, but netdigger2 was the monster behind that 4 LOKO. Hahaha.

See, my memory has been permanently compromised by that can of unholy pink drank.

I protested the LOKO, and did not consume any myself, as I want my children to grow up knowing their father. Hehe.
