First batch of beer. And ipa recipe. And we get everything all art up and fermenting. Next morning lid has blown off the bucket and the airlock is plugged with foam. I made a blowout tube . I was curious if I'm supposed to leave that in for the rest of the time or take it out and put a new air lock in. Any thoughts questions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I usually leave the blowoff on until I stop seeing a lot of activity, which doesn't necessarily mean that fermentation is finished. Once you stop seeing spew everywhere, and it looks safe to go back to an airlock, it's safe to go back to an airlock.
