High Krausen on the yeast!!!

I woke up this morning, made some coffee. Turned around to give the yeast starter a swirl and saw 2" of Krausen on my Yeast Starter. You cant see it in the picture, but the CO2 is rising up against the flask like crazy.

Thats 2 liters of wort saved from my last brew day.
And White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast, that I washed from my last pale ale.

It's going to be a great brew day today!!!

Put it in the bottom of your fermenter if it is about to overflow or into the fridge. You could loses some valuable yeast.
 
I just had a wlp001 starter that made a giant krausen too. I pitched into a noble hop pale ale (SG 1060) and it dropped to 1011 within 5 days. Kick ass yeast!
