hey guys, just signed up, looking for some information on some home brewing techniques...

im 23, and im from buffalo ny, where we are fueled by chicken wings and canadian import beer. my other hobbies include old BMW's, drinking, smoking, and not shaving when there is snow on the ground.

just here to look around and see if i can get anything going with an extreme budget build (ie. buying as little as possible and just using things i have sitting around the apartment) would it be more cost effective to just buy a kit? i kinda want to macgyver this operation as much as i can...

going to be using the search a lot to get started i guess... well thanks for having me!!

Welcome to HBT! :mug:

I think your best bet would be to buy a starter it first. Then, once you have the process down, you can start MacGyver'ng stuff. Feel free to look around (especially at the DIY section), and ask any questions you may have...
