Hi from snowy NH!

I have been reading a lot here and have learned so much! I have my 3rd batch cooking today, a Nut Brown Ale from a True Brew kit I bought from my local HBS- The Fermentation Station in Ashland, NH.

I have an American Pale Ale in the fermenter that I bought from More Beer and I am drinking my first batch, a Mardi Gras, Amber Ale, that I bought from The American Home Brewer.
I am really enjoying the hobby and am looking into BIAB as my next step.

Greetings from Southern (icy) NH. Glad you are enjoying brewing. BIAB is a great, and inexpensive, way to get into all-grain brewing. I do mostly BIAB in 2.5 to 3 gallon batches.

Hello in NH...I don't miss the icy, snowy and any other description I can give it. I left 7 years ago and am now enjoying my brew days in sunny Florida! I have a few friends who have moved into BIAB due to the ease but I like the freedom of all grain brewing using a cooler for a mash tun.

BIAB can be a great way to step into all-grain brewing. I would recommend getting one of the large bags from Midwest Supplies or your local homebrew shop. The $7 price tag is worth the convenience, in my opinion rather than sewing a bag on my own.
