Hello, my name is Bob and I just bought a beer kit from my local home brew shop. I am studying chemical engineering at Northeastern Univ. and decided to take up a hobby related to what I am studying. I enjoy golf, cars, and playing poker as well. I look forward to learning a lot on here and continually improving my brews. Thanks!

Welcome! You've come to the right place. I brewed for a long time before I joined this board, and I cant tell you what being a member here has done for my learning curve.
I enjoy a poker game here and there as well. I used to play with a bunch of guys from the south shore area when I lived on the Cape. Brewing and poker go together way too well!
