Just started homebrewing about six months ago after increasingly disappointing batches of brew we made at our local "home brew" restaurant. Made the jump to true homebrewing and never looking back!

In fact, what prevented me from starting earlier were stories of exploding bottles, house cluttered with bottles, infected fermenters, etc. A friend referred me to this site to read about a killer keezer project he found. Decided kegging was the solution to all my concerns. So I guess it did it a bit backward - started by building a 4-tap keezer and then started my journey into HB. After brewing my first batch I realized these people must have been doing something seriously wrong, cuz this ain't rocket science! I've done a few ales, IPAs and did my first partial mash last weekend. All have tasted incredible. BBQs with friends are better than ever! Now, ironically, I've got eyes on some bottle/keg conditioning projects in the next few weeks.

You guys have been a ton of help. I botched the OG for a Racer 5 KO and found info on ratios for adding extract to fix. Tons of hop substitution info. Tap system problems, etc. So, figured I'd "officially" join in the conversation. Don't have much advice to dish just yet but look forward to swapping stories!
