My neighbor (who is a user here, but I'm not sure of his username) turned me on to brewing about a year ago. I recently brewed & bottled my first recipe and it's safe it say that I'm hooked.

It's a red rye IPA. Initial tasting had me pleased. Can't wait to drink one for real.

Sounds great. Good luck and if you have another fermentation vessel you may consider starting another batch soon. Building a pipeline helps with being patient.
If you aren't aware, Atlantic Brew Supply is an amazing LHBS. They have great prices, a lot of great specialty grains, a ton of yeast and hops and their staff makes it well worth driving past the LHBS that is 2 miles from home just to go there.
