Hi everyone,
My name's Zack. I bought a homebrew kit last year, and I would like to get more use out of it. I was working two jobs to get some college debt paid off, but now, I've opened up some time in my schedule.
I started out with a stout, and it turned out extremely malty with a very thick head. The more I read, the more I see where I made mistakes throughout the brewing process. I'm still trying to properly learn how to use a hydrometer. I have read a few different tips, but haven't found a decisive answer.
I'd like to get back into the homebrew community with an IPA. Anything simple to get accustomed to brewing again?
