Hello all!

We are a married couple in Portland who have been brewing together since 2012, we have about 6 partial mashes under our belt and 2 ciders. We just started kegging and eventually hope to move to all grain. We have learned so much and gotten some wonderful recipes from this forum so figured it was time to jump in and introduce ourselves. D likes Belgians and big IPAs and J likes porters, ales, and the weird stuff like sours and fruit/vegetable beers.

We look forward to posting with you soon!

If you have any questions, you'll definitely find help here.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard. I'm your neighbor to the north. In Vancouver. This is a good place to get good and bad advice. Takes a while to figure out what's what.....

Does gravity affect gravity? Would all beer be lite on the moon?

Howdy, where in a Portland are you guys? I'm in SE (Foster-Powell).

I used to live at 15th and Umatilla across from the school yard. I been wanting to go to that brew store just haven't made it there yet. I usually get my ingredients from FHsteinbart near 12th and SE Burnside. Oldest brew supply store in the NW.

Hi Ong! We're in SE too (Sellwood). We have an awesome homebrew supply store in our neighborhood called the U-Brew, ever been there?

Yes, I go to the monthly brew club meetings there (Portland Brewers Alliance). However, I usually shop at the shop near me (80th and Foster), since I'm transporting 50 lb grain sacks by cargo bike.

Welcome! I live over by 122nd and foster myself.

I work just down the road from that shop haha, started going there right after they opened.
