I finally decided to start brewing my own after giving in to my friends hassling. I picked up a kit last Friday and started that night:D

I currently have a True Brew American Wheat sitting in my primary and am waiting not to patiently to be able to bottle it. I wasn't planning on using a secondary for this batch to keep it simple but am having second thoughts (mainly to free up the primary for another batch) any opinions?

Welcome to HBT.

Since your beer is a wheat beer you can bottle it straight from primary as long as it's done fermenting. I usually keg mine after 6 - 10 days.

Thanks for the welcome everyone

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to bottle it before I go back to work next week.

Hey from Brighton! good luck with your first batch!

Thanks
