Hi Everyone,
First post here. I've never brewed before, but I've read a few books (How to Brew, The Joy of Homebrewing, and others) and watched every video I can find on You Tube. Despite what the nice guy at my home brew shop and virtually every other brewer has told me, I'm going to bypass extract brewing all together and jump right into 100% all grain. I have all of the equipment except my mash/lauter tun (which I'm building this weekend).
I plan on having my first brew day a week from this saturday and I'm going to try the nut brown ale recipe that Palmer recommends in his book. I'm not sure how it going to go, but I'll post the results and look for as much advice as I can get...
