I've been homebrewing in Austin Texas for about 3 years. We have a great homebrew supply store here, Austin Homebrew Supply. They've been there for me whenever I've had a question to help me get started homebrewing.

I made good ale the first couple of years but recent batches haven't been so good. I've joined the forum to see if I can get some advice on fixing whatever I'm doing wrong lately.

I also have a very strong interest in water and energy conservation in homebrewing.

See you on the forums.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your run of bad luck. Maybe you can post some recent recipes and your brew process and we can try to help.

That terrapass is interesting, I'm sure my SWMBO would love it. Do you know how much of the $ goes toward conservation? I guess what I'm asking is how many cents on the dollar are actually used for conservation rather than paying salaries and what not.

Glenda,

I am in Austin also. May I suggest you go to some of the Austin Zealots monthly meetings and pick a few brains there if you haven't already. (catch them early in the meetings before they brains become fuzzy:tank: )

You can get the info from AustinZealots.com.

Welcome! :mug: I know we can help you improve your beers. I'm looking forward to your questions and comments.
Tell us about your processes and recipes that you have brewed so far.
