I was in Harbor Freight buying a couple of tiny c clamps which may get sacrificed in my DIY stainless hop spider build. When I walked by the welding section, I noticed that they had 20 lb CO2 tanks on sale for $89.99. A quick online search yielded a 25% off coupon good through the end of the month which knocks the price down to $67.49. Anybody have an opinion as to why this isn't a good deal?

I saw the tanks in my local HF and they looked just like any other brand new CO2 tank. I'd say go for it.

A quick search on google says that 1lb of CO2 is approximately 8cuft, so you are looking at a fairly small tank.

Yeah I have never seen anything bigger than those at my Harbor Freight...so it's definitely not a good deal if you're looking for a big tank

Yep - the Harbor Freight tank is a 5lb tank. Not a great deal. I think I'll pick up one of those 7lb bvrgelement tanks for $42 shipped.
