Greetings all!
New to the site, and have started home brewing 2 months ago. I have seen the light! I was interested in beer about 10 years ago when a friend invited me on a group tour of Picaroons in Fredericton while attending UNB. The beer that I loved was their 'Whale Ale'.
Long stories short, I have started my home brewing with the Festa Brew kits, and after 2 brews, I can say that I have mastered them! 3 finger heads, crystal clear, and perfect carbonation with very little sediment. Yes, only 2!
I am itching to try a II IPA recipe, just looking now at viable recipes. I love extremely bitter ales, and am not partial to dark beer, ie. stouts.
Considering that Festa Brew kits are almost fail safe, mastering them is not hard, but what is hard is making a mastered kit taste like it is supposed to! If anyone has tried to get those pesky labels off of a Picaroons bottle, I have the perfect solution. My usual time was 8 minutes for label removal...., not now. PM me for details!
Cheers all!
