Just making a little introduction thread as suggested by the message at the top of my screen. I just started my very first brew! About a year ago my brother was given a "mr.beer" home brew kit but it sat in his closet up until Saturday night, I had some friends over and at 5:30 Am after watching Beer fest we decided to just steal my bros kit since he clearly wasn't ever going to use it. So we read the instruction and after an hr. we set the brew away to ferment for 2 weeks which happens to be 4 ft behind where im sitting. Anyway im very curious to see how my/our first brew turns out. In the last 2 days ive been looking at many other simple recipe's and i hope start a Sake or Cider brew next weekend. Ill try my best to not make to many newbie posts. I am a Part time mechanic and car enthusiast but think brewing will make a great winter/lifetime hobby.
