Hello everyone!

I got into homebrewing about a month ago, but I've been interested in it for years now. I finally made the plunge and have my first batch ready to be bottled now. At this point, I can't wait until I can relax, not worry, and have one of my OWN home brews.

I decided to finally become a member since I've been lurking on this forum for so long, and everyone here seems to have a lot of helpful advice. I hope that I can give as much help as I think I'm going to receive on this forum.

What part of NC?

JM, I played soccer at LR.

My home town is Statesville, NC, and I actually bought my supplies from a home brew store in Hickory. Most of the time I'm at school at UNC Chapel Hill though.

I went to graduate school at NC State, my wife went to UNC Chapel Hill, and we lived in Durham. We covered the triangle pretty well.

Welcome!

UNC alum (2002) in exile in NJ for doctoral work here. My wife and I are moving back to NC in June- not sure where yet, but excited nonetheless.
