Just thought I should introduce myself. I've lurked on here for quite a while now. Just never bothered to post anything. I joined the homebrewing community last summer after visiting Sedona, AZ on vacation. My wife and I spent a week with one of our friends and her dad who retired from Annheuser-Busch as Brewmaster and now owns a brewery and grill in Sedona. It was an enjoyable experience speaking with a master on a daily basis about beer. I knew nothing about beer at that point (except how to pop the cap and drink up) and was intrigued by the science of it all. He gave me a tour of the brewery and that helped me picture the process. Albeit on a larger scale than I could ever accomplish.
Anyway, I came home and ordered a brew kit and read as much as I could and have been brewing ever since. I really love beer and it only makes sense to make my own as much as it does for the house wife (what's that?
) to bake her own cake or pie.
Thanks for all of the great info in the past and future to come.
