Has anybody used their their HLT as a HERMS heat source and also an ice water cold source for post boil chilling using the same coil? I'm thinking it's an available vessel that I can fill with ice water and pump wort through the same coil I used to gain heat during mash. Upside is I only need one heat exchanger. Any downside besides exposing wort to 50' of tube.

I think that's how it's done on the Brew Magic system, if I'm not mistaken...
