So this is a little after a week in the bottle. (Heather Amber Ale) I figured I would taste my green beer. Taste a little skunked (to young I assume) . It doesnt smell like a normal beer...but it taste pretty good and im hoping it will only get better

Congrats on your first beer, and welcome to the obsession! It looks good so far...just wait a few weeks and you'll be blown away!

It seems like time is the universal healer in the beer world.

Congrats on your first!

My first is still in secondary. I'll be bottling next weekend. Now I need another beer.

Yes, a week is way too young, but you can learn to judge how it will eventually turn out by tasting at each stage. One thing you will learn is that the last bottle always tastes the best!

This is quite true. Do yourself a favor and begin brewing/planning your next batch. Once you have a decent inventory/stock going, waiting a few weeks/months to crack open the first of the batch doesn't seem so bad.

And then you'll get kegs, and then you'll get a keezer, and then you'll go all grain, and then.....:mug:
