I've been using a 5 gallon Pail for sanitizing with star San and I just purchased an auto siphon. I need to sanitize but my pail is not tall enough for the 3-4 foot long auto siphon. Can I sanitize the one side, flip it over and sanitize the other? Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's what i do.
That should work. Also a good way to do star san (or idophor) is to get a spray bottle from the cleaning tools isle at home depot or lowes. Then spray down the surface you need sanatized. I do this all the time.
make sure you pump the auto siphon all the way to get it to fill the whole thing on the inside.
