Alright...I am itching to start on building the next thing to feed my addiction here....I started with a beginners kit...then made a ten gallon mash tun...then bought kegs and built a keezer...any ideas on the direction I should go next? I see a lot of wild stands and setups..anyone have a direction to head?

Here's a few:
DIY immersion chiller
DIY stir plate
grain mill (motorized)
fermentation chamber/ converted fridge

I've done all these recently, and they all have helped improved my beer. A stand would be cool, but for me that's like a whole new system rather than an add-on.

budget is not really an issue...I did make a immersion chiller already too. A stir plate would be real nice...however I am not very good with electricity...had a hell of a time getting my love controller wired up even =/ Maybe I will read that thread on here again about the DIY stir plate and go for it...would be a nice thing to have

Fermentation control. That's a big one. All you need is a Love controller an another fridge!

When I made my stir plate I spent a whole night trying to solder that damn thing up, and gave up. I bought a crimp on connector kit, and had it done in about 20 minutes. So unless your good at soldering save yourself alot of grief and get the crimp on connectors.

+1 Absolutely a must. Check out "ebay temp controller build" Super easy to wire up.

I recommend the Weldless Brew Stand. I went weldless because it fit my budget and I don't own a welder. It's also very easy to change the configuration of a weldless stand. It was very easy to build. All the components and measurements are listed on that thread and I had it assembled in just a few hours!

I will plus one that, I can not wire anything, but made the one posted here on the board in about 30mins or so, and it works. I just put connectors on everything.Trust me whan I say, if I can do it anyone can!
