Ok I made a simple strawberry mead on Friday Night and the Fermenting is really slow. I blended 3.5lbs of Fresh Strawberries and put them on top of 3.5lbs of honey, 1tsp Yeast Nutrient, 1tsp of Pectic.
I added the yeast on at the end and i think the strawberries are not letting the yeast drop. its kicking a little bit about one bubble every 10-20 seconds.
Is it Ok? or what do you think i should do?

So when fruit floats on top of your mead it's called a "cap" or "fruit cap" Shake it up or use a sanitized object to incorporate the fruit back into the must.

Yeast should come off the strawberries and into the rest of the must and get you on your way.

That's typically what one looks like. It's just the fruit floating and in your case, blocking the yeast from getting to the must, a few stirs and the yeast should be in the must.
