Trying to lock in a hopping schedule for an american pale ale i'm brewing on sunday. It's a pretty basic grain bill (based pretty much on Jamil's recipe in Brewing Classic Styles)
I have the following hops on hand:
3 oz of the following:
Warrior
Columbus
Willamette
Galena
Nugget
2.5 oz Summit
1.5 oz Tradition
.5 oz Citra
I was planning on using warrior or summit for bittering, but after that had no idea. I could probably get to whole foods to pick up some other flavor aroma hops, but would much rather use stuff i've got on hand.
My goal is to make a solid example of something pretty true to the APA style. OG is gonna be around 1.055. Maybe summit and citra for aroma and flavor? or is summit too high in AA?
