I will be doing my first PM. I wanted to brew a Hefe, (60% wheat and 40% barley or pils) I went to my LBS and picked up Weyerman Lt wheat malt
and Light Munich 2 row barley. They didn't have any pils.

I am not familiar with grains at all. Will the Light Munich be too much for the Hefe or will it be OK?

didn't mash it yet. I was going to make a starter today but held off.

It would have been

6 lbs Lt wheat
4 lbs Light Munich

I was going to substitute some wheat for LME.

that sounds like a lot for a partial mash, u could go all grain with that amount. color would work just fine. if your gonna do all grain. if your partial mashing. id cut the grains in half and use wheat extract. not using any pils malt will be fine
