Essentially my neighbor inherited these corona mills when he bought his house. He just gave them to me and I noticed quite a difference in the grinding stones. Before I send anything through these, any ideas what the one with the small teeth might do?

The mill with the stones is for grinding fine flour. They'll completely disintegrate your hulls if you try to use it. The one with the metal plates is exactly what you're looking for if you're looking to crush grain for brewing. Just play with the settings until you get the crush you want. These mills have very low quality control so the perfect setting tends to be different for every one. Just tighten it down then do 1/4 lb or so of malt at a time till you get the crush you want.
