I started my first wine the other day and i have put the wine from my fermentation bin into the demijohn with an airlock on. That is bubbling away nicely, however it wouldnt all fit so it is still in the bin.

However the bit thats left will not fill another Demijohn is it still ok to put it in or is it ok staying in the bin?

Thanks for the help!

Sanitize another vessel- a beer bottle, wine bottle, water jug, etc, that is the correct size and then put the wine it that. It needs an airlock, so you can buy a bung that fits at a homebrew store, or punch a hole in the cap of a water or soda bottle that will fit the airlock.

Use that wine for topping up the demijohn after racking. Blackberry wine throws a lot of lees, and you'll need it!
